It’s not likely that anyone who sees the 2011 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 Carbon Limited Edition model won’t be blown away. This car has ZR1-sourced active magnetic suspension and carbon-ceramic brakes. While it doesn’t have the ZR1’s 6.2-liter supercharged V-8 with 638hp, it gets the standard Z06’s 7.0-liter 505-horsepower V-8. The car also features the following: new carbon pattern engine cover, additional engine cooling, carbon fiber hood, diffuser and side rockers, unique badging, leather and suede interior with contrasting stitching, and logoed headrests are all part of the package.
Paint could either be Supersonic Blue or Inferno Orange paint. Customers will be delighted to know that the racing number package is included with each car. According to Corvette chief engineer, Tadge Juechter, it cuts about three seconds off the standard Z06’s Laguna Seca lap time. Only 500 will be built, but owners can order the CFZ and Z07 packages for their standard Z06.
