Japan saw a 2012 Subaru WRX STI tS
Almost two weeks ago in Japan introduced a new version of the Impreza WRX STI 2011, received the name of the Subaru WRX STI tS, which had been known only that the car will receive a carbon-fiber hood.
Now the Japanese company is offering full details of all-wheel drive vehicle. It turns out there are actually two versions - WRX STI tS and WRX STI A-Line tS, based on four-door version of the SUBARU WRX STI and WRX STI A-Line (automatic transmission).
Versions come with a reduced weight due to the aforementioned carbon-fiber hood. In addition, there is a new suspension, 18-inch alloy wheels, Recaro sports seats and much more.
tS uses a 2.0-liter twin-scroll turbocharged Boxer, power of 308 hp and 430 Nm of torque, connected to a five-speed manual gearbox. As for A-Line tS, then under its hood is a 2.5-liter turbocharged unit, capable of 300 hp and 350 Nm, complete with five-speed automatic.
