Volkswagen Group has published a new photo shoot and some of the technical characteristics of the Jetta sedan 2011 model year, the world premiere of which took place in New York last month.
According to a press release from the manufacturer on the European market the car will be presented with six engines, all of whom are equipped with turbocharger and direct injection system. Four petrol engines in sizes from 1,2 to 2,0 liters and output - from 105 to 200 hp. pp. This is the most compact of them equipped with the system BlueMotion, spends just 5.3 litres/100 km, while differing with good dynamics (acceleration from standstill to 100 km - 10.9 seconds, maximum torque - 175 N m).
Diesel Jetta will be equipped with engines capacity of 1.6 liters (105 hp) and 2.0 liters (140 hp), while the smaller ones also can be ordered with a set of BlueMotion, reduces fuel consumption up to 4,2 l / 100 km. For more detailed specifications, as well as prices for Europe will be announced closer to the beginning of sales of the sixth-generation Volkswagen Jetta.
