Ford Europe is set to introduce a sporty special edition for the Fiesta only for UK, Spain, Switzerland and Austria, which it considers to be the top markets in the continent. The Fiesta Sport+ model can be ordered with the 1.6 liter petrol engine delivering 120 HP or with the 1.6 liter diesel unit that offers 95 HP. It is distinctive due to its styling kit, which comprises a redesigned front bumper that features a flared lower part, new side skirts, a rear spoiler and a fresh rear spoiler that integrates a diffuser.
There are two exterior color schemes available for the Sport+. The first one is “Frozen White,” which features Performance Blue GT stripes on the roof and bonnet and dynamic side stripes. Meanwhile, the second one, “Performance Blue,” uses white stripes. The car rides on “Frozen White”-finished alloy rims. Choosing the petrol version means that you get 17-inch wheels featuring 205/40 R17 rubber.
The diesel uses 16-inch rims wrapped in 195/45 R16 tires. For its interior, we see special badging and heated sport seats that have a leather finish. This material is used as well for the steering wheel (the element also features blue stitching), handbrake cover and gearshift knob. Blue stitching is seen on the vehicle’s floor mats too.
