The XJ is Jaguar's top sedan line and a lightweight, fun-to-drive alternative to heavy and serious German competition such as the BMW 7-series and Mercedes-Benz S-class. It rides on a largely aluminum platform that shaves pounds and gives the XJ a delicate and stately feel.
