Citroën wants customers to personalise their DS3, so bodies, wheels and wheel centres are offered in a wide choice of colours, although the roof is available only in black, white, blue or red.
The DS3 – first of several models in a diverse new DS range – will be one of the smallest vehicles in the compact urban sector, at 12.96ft (3.95m) long and 5.61ft (1.71m) wide, but Citroën claims class-leading standards for passenger and luggage space.
Its launch forms part of the company's 90th birthday celebrations at Frankfurt. The show is open to the public from September 17-27.
